U.S. Stone's Obituary
U. S. Stone, age 80, of Lorain passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Metro Medical Center, Cleveland.
He was born on December, 18, 1935 in Hartselle, Morgan County, Alabama to Felton and Jewel Stone. U.S. made his career as an inspector at Ford Motor Company for 44 years, retiring in 2004.
U.S. loved fishing and won many awards in the fishing tournaments that he participated in. He also loved running his dogs and was a member of the Lorain County Beagle Club, listening to Old style country music and having coffee with his friends.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Barbara (nee Ehman); children, Darlene Brouse, of Lorain, Kathe Pittman, of Lorain and Dale Bado, of New London; grandchildren, Melanie, Melissa and Kevin Brouse, Tony and Heather Scott, Matthew, Jose and Ricky Amezquita, and Katelyn Pittman; great-granddaughters, Julissa and Tea ; sister, Katherine Stone, of Alabama; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
U.S. was preceded in death by his daughters, Cheryl Amezquita and Angie Scott; parents, Felton and Jewel Stone; brothers, John, Charles and Leon Stone; and his sister, Judy Cagle.
The Stone family will receive friends on Friday, May 6, 2016 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 7th. At 11:00 a.m. in the funeral center. Interment will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.
