Virginia Smith's Obituary
Virginia "Jenny" Smith (nee Spurlock), age 66, of Elyria, passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at her home while under the care of hospice.
She was born on September 29, 1946 in Logan County, West Virginia to the late George and Bonnie Rose Spurlock.
Jenny was one of Jehovah's Witnesses at the Kingdom Hall on Telegraph Road.
During her travels, Jenny loved to collect anything from shells to rocks to dirt from places she visited.
She is survived by her husband of 46 ½ years, James Harvey; her son, James (Cindy) Smith II, of Maryland; her daughters, Sabrina (Brian) Lear, of Elyria, Terry (James) Beard, of Alabama, Teresa Smith, of Elyria, and Susan (Jeffrey) McLeod, of Alabama; 6 grandchildren and several brothers and sisters.
The Smith Family invites friends to attend a memorial service today (Saturday, October 20, 2012) at 1:00 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 44715 Telegraph Rd., Elyria. Brother Larry Young will officiate.
The Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd., Amherst handled the arrangements.
