TO THE ALVEN FAMILY, WE FIRST MET WES THROUGH THE MARRIAGE OF HIS DAUGHTER, CAROL ANN, TO A FRIEND OF MY SON. LATER, I WAS FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO HAVE WES COME TO THE OFFICE WHERE I WORK. WHEN HE CAME IN HE ALWAYS HAD A WARM SMILE, A BIG HANDSHAKE AND A JOKE OR THREE (NOT ONE OF THEM NASTY). HE WOULD THEN ASK HOW MY FAMILY WAS AND THEN PROCEED TO TELL ME HOW HIS FAMILY WAS.

Dear Linda, Jackie, Mary Beth, Carol Ann, Joe, Brian, Michael and all grandchildren:

I have known Wes for almost 30 years. He was a man with a gentle soul, kind heart and had such love for his family and friends.... He will be missed by so many. He called me last week and he had such a happy way about himself...as he always did.......always with a joke, or two or even a dozen. I always asked him, "Wes, how do you remember all of these?" He would always say to me, "That's just me!"

I truly will miss him with all my heart. He was there for myself and my children many times over the years. Only a phone call away. I love you, Wes and will miss you dearly.

My heart goes out to you Linda and all of the family......he loved you all so very much. He lives on in all of us, in our hearts and in all the loving memories we have of him.
