William T. Koleno's Obituary
William Timothy Koleno, 78, passed away on December 17, 2025. Born in Lorain, Ohio on January 22, 1947 and raised in Amherst Ohio, Bill was drafted during the Vietnam war at age 20 on February 6, 1968. He served in the Delta company, 1st Battalion, 5th cavalry regiment. Retiring after 40 years of service, at Ford Motor Company to enjoy his garden, hunting, riding his motorcycle, and let’s not forget NASCAR all day on the TV!
He is survived by his wife Lillette Joyce Koleno; son William Timothy Koleno II 2nd (Kelly); daughter Jennifer Lee Koleno; grandchildren Courtney and Erika; and sister Georgette Carrion (Dominic).
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025 from 10-11 AM with a memorial service at 11 AM at Dovin & Reber Jones Funeral and Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst, OH 44001. He will be privately laid to rest at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date.
With gratitude, the Koleno family extends their sincere thanks and best wishes to everyone who has shown love and support during this time. The family requests no flowers and finds comfort in knowing William will be remembered in the hearts of those who loved him.
