William Michael Martin's Obituary
William Michael Martin entered into eternal rest on the morning of November 28, 2015. Michael was born October 10, 1958 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of the late Emma Lee Martin and Douglas Green. Michael moved to Oberlin, Ohio in adulthood where he was a life-long member and Pastor at The Almighty Church.
William Michael Martin was preceded in death by his wife, Virtue Martin; and his brothers, Albert Green, Howard Green and Antonio Martin.
He is survived by his two sons, Jehu Anderson and Noah Smith; daughter, Majesty Hennings; five grandchildren; three loving sisters, Ann Duke, Mary Martin, and Mary Dean Crain; three brothers, James Martin, Robert Martin, Donald Martin; and numerous nieces and nephews in which he adored.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, December 4, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of the Open Door, 43275 Telegraph Road, Elyria, OH. Private family interment will take place at a later date.
