William Darryl Orlandi's Obituary
William Darryl Orlandi, age 77, a lifelong resident of Lorain passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at Mercy New Life Hospice after a short illness.
He was born January 21, 1944, in Lorain, Ohio to William and Maria (nee Giacobbe) Orlandi. William was a 1963 graduate of Admiral King High School he then went on to attend Barber School earning his license. He made his career as a barber in Lorain for many years.
William loved playing cards with his family, watching television and always enjoyed a good meal. He was an all-around great guy who loved his family.
He is survived by his sister, Teri Campana; sister-in-law, Kathleen Orlandi; 6 nieces and nephews; 5 great- nieces and nephews; and many cousins.
William was preceded in death by his parents, William and Maria Orlandi; brother Gary Orlandi; and his brother-in-law, Wayne Campana.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 23, 2021, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst, Ohio 44001. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 24th. at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral center. Rev. Father Craig Hovanec, Pastor of St. Peter Parish, will officiate. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
