Wilma L. Chambers' Obituary
Wilma L. Chambers (nee Brewer), age 62, of Lorain, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2013 at her home while under the care of New Life Hospice.
She was born on August 8, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan.
A member of the Toledo Road Church of Christ, Wilma enjoyed going to church and participating in various church activities.
Wilma was a devoted homemaker, wife and mother. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Ronnie; daughters, Pamela (Marco) Sansotta, of Michigan, Diana (Danny) Adkins, of Lorain, and Rhonda (Ramon Commander) Chambers, of Michigan; her sons, Johnny and Anthony Chambers, both of Lorain; her grandchildren, Colleen and Len Dvorak III, Danny, Ronnie and Donnie Adkins, Salina and Mia Commander, Dominica, Michael and Anthony Sansotta, and Justin Saltis; 6 great-grandchildren; her step-father, George Lueth, of IL; her sisters, Brenda Mays, of KY, Linda Case, of MI, Sandy Booth, Angie Lueth and Thea Bahr, all of IL; and her brother, Carey Brewer of SC.
Wilma was preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Jeffery; her father, Jink Brewer Jr; her mother, Magdaline Brewer Lueth (nee Lawson); her sister Debbie Watkins and her mother-in-law, Mary Wakelee.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 11, 2013 from 4-8 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd., Amherst. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 in the funeral center at 10:00 a.m. Committal services will be later the same day at 3:00 p.m. in Brooklyn Heights Cemetery, Cleveland.
