Wilma H. Ives' Obituary
Wilma Hazel (née Jackson), 94 years young, of Camden Township, Ohio passed away on January 20, 2026. She graduated from Camden School with the Class of 1949 and attended The Oberlin School of Commerce. She worked in the secretary office at Oberlin College and retired from Firelands School District as a secretary in 1995.
She was a past member of Kipton Community Church, Sit and Stitch Quilt Club, and The Thyme for Friends Herb Club. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and baking for her family and she will be missed by all those who loved and knew her.
She was the beloved wife of Kenneth James Ives, Jr. (deceased) of 58 years; loving mother of Kathy (Keith) Davidson of Lavonia, GA, Debra (Chris) Buchs of Wakeman, OH, Judy Ives-Karney of Avon, OH, Diana L. Fredrikson of Lagrange, OH, William (Fran) Ives of Wakeman, OH, and James Ives of New London, OH; cherished grandmother of Amanda Broadnax, Scott Davidson, Jason Buchs, Greg Buchs, Traci Reitz, Brittany Castillo-Morales, Gabrielle Perry, Joshua Schmittgen, Carrie Schmittgen, Kyle Ives, and Lauren Ives; great-grandmother of 16; and great-great grandmother of 4; dear sister of Robert Jackson (deceased), and Eleanor (Robert) French of Wakeman, OH.
Services will be held at a later date, and she will be privately laid to rest next to her husband at Camden Township Cemetery.
