Yvonne "Bonnie" Keller's Obituary
Yvonne “Bonnie” Keller (nee Greenless), age 75, of Vermilion, passed away suddenly after a brief illness on April 1, 2018.
She was born on March 26, 1943 and lived most of her life in this area and attended Lorain High School. Most recently, Bonnie could be found enjoying one of her biggest hobbies which was working at a local gaming room. She also worked for a few other gaming rooms as well. Previous to working at the various gaming rooms, she was employed at Ford Motor Co., retiring from there in 1985.
Besides her hobby of working at a local gaming room, she also enjoyed any gambling in general and playing BINGO. Bonnie was adventurous as well. She liked to fish, enjoyed going boating, and even liked to do some camping.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Edward D., daughter, Aimee Schilens, of Lorain, step-daughter, Germaine Keller, of Castalia, grandchildren; Eryn Greenless, Michael Schilens, Angela Blake, and Laura Heishman, 3 great grandchildren, and her siblings; Carolyn McKissick, of La Grange, William Greenless, of Lorain, Rodger Greenless, of Amherst, and Charlene Daub, of Lorain. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; Cecil and Blanche (nee Nason) Greenless, and a sister, Barbara Jean Nason.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 5, from 3 to 7 pm, in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. Funeral services will be on Friday at 10:00 am, also in the funeral center. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
