Dear Everyone in Tony's family,
I am so sorry I will not be able to be there for Tony's funeral, but he and all of you are in my prayers, and all the SIsters of Charity are remembering Tony in their prayers too. (My sister Jacquelyn will be there, I'm happy to write.)
My remembrance of Tony is always of a dear gentleman, truly gentle, and with a great sense of humor, laughing heartily at anyone's jokes, especially his brother Victor's. I also think of how caring he was in connecting others, in other countries even, with his ham radio, helping them all he could. This seems just a part of how gentle and caring he was. He never put himself forward according to my memories, but in the background he was truly present and attentive, especially to his wife Margaret.
I am happy I got to talk a long time to him and Margaret when I was in Cleveland for a meeting not too long ago. It is a very happy memory.
Rest in peace, dear cousin.
Lovingly,
Victoria
