Cathy was a joy to teach with at Powers. She was cheerful & kind & a loving, nurturing educator. Cathy loved music & was an advocate for music being an integral part of the curriculum. We were thrilled when our younger daughter Melanie had Cathy for her 2nd grade teacher. She adored her and her students learned how to write cursive beautifully!
You will be dearly missed my friend!

Condolences to the family of Cathy. I taught with her and found her to be always cheerful and optomistic regardless of the situation at hand. She was diligent about her students and always spoke with love about her daughters....I know she will be missed by many.
Cathy and I taught together at Powers Elementary School. So many good memories. Rest in peace Cathy.
Sending all my sympathy to the family. I taught with her and we were good friends. Her memory will always be with me.
