Thoughts and prayers for the Hooper Family. Truly a loss of a great man. I too had the privilege of working with Charlie at Nordson. He always made it fun and taught me a lot about career, people and life. All of this Did Matter :).

My head bowed and my heart sank when I found out Charlie had left this world. All who met Charlie were blessed by his friendship. Charlie always said, “the world goes round and round. It just depends when you get off.” Charlie might have left this world before us, but he will greet us with open arms and his patented smile when we join him again at “the next ice cream social.”

I had a honor of knowing Charlie for many years at Nordson and other places.I knew he was taking care of his beloved wife but had no idea he too was ill. He was always friendly......smiling....and as the paper said he had his Hooperisms - my favorite was D.M. - does not matter..and of course that mustache!! I shall miss him and cherish the time we spent together over the years..Prayers for his family at this time, sorry could not attend the service, already have time filled..and sad he will miss the Old Timer banquet next month!! he would have enjoyed it and we would have been happy to see him!!!!
