I am so sorry for your loss. I was reading the online version of St. Nick's bulletin and saw that Mass was being said for Connie. I have always admired Connie. She was always so kind and gentle. I know that you must all miss her terribly. Please know that she and your entire family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Matt although I never had the pleasure of meeting your mom I do know she was a truly special lady not just because of the kind words about her but, mostly because she raised a wonderful son (you!). Connie's first year as a student attendant was in my classroom. We became good friends and worked together so nicely. It was a fun year. I am sending all of my sympathy. She was a special person who I will always remember.

I was one of the lucky people to work with Connie. She was a gentle, sweet soul and,. the students loved her. She never complained about anything and since I would sub for her she would tell me a little of what was going onbut then she would say not to worry, I am going to be ok. Our conversations usually ended with her ended with a smile. She will be missed by many and I am so sorry for your loss and that I will be out of town so I'll be unable to make the visitation. She smiled biggest and brightest when she spoke of her children and her grandchildren.
I know she hasn't anymore pain and will always be watching over you with love.
