Connie was a dear teacher friend for over 30 years. We would have lunch dates during
the summer while she was still teaching and talk for hours. These luncheons continued
until I moved to The Villages in Florida in 2014. However we still conversed on the phone and I'm so glad I just spoke with her in the last month. She always saw the
positive in people and I will miss her dearly. How "Connie" it is to have a scene of
flowers and not her picture. I remember on picture day at school when the teachers
were called to the gym, she would disregard the announcement.
