After arriving at Lorain Lighthouse in 2008 as the Senior Pastor – Dave and I became good friends and co-partners in ministry.
Dave served in many ministries over the years. He was the Chairman of the Building Team and oversaw the building of our new Family Life Center, new Sanctuary and the complete renovation of the parking lots and the rest of the church buildings.
He also served as the Trustee Chair who oversaw the maintenance of the property. He also served on the Stewardship Team that resulted in record giving and paying off the mortgage in 3 years. And Dave also played in our worship band!
We spent a lot of time together in meetings, going out to lunch, talking about life and even working out at a fitness center. Dave was fun to be with! He was dedicated, passionate, and loved the Lord and the church!
As I think about Dave – I realize how much he blessed me and so many others during our time together! He will be missed but not forgotten.

I will always cherish the memories of Dave and our time in church and band. His spunky spirit never faded and his faith was firmly rooted. I enjoyed hearing his stories of serving in the motorcycle ministry too. Prayer for Linda and the boys, may your memories blanket you in peace and comfort.
