Eugene A. Mudrock's Obituary
Eugene A. (Pudge) Mudrock age 83, finished his race in life at home surrounded by his family on February 3, 2022.
Pudge was born to George and Mary Mudrock on November 4,1938 and the world would never be the same.
After graduating from Lorain High School Class of 1956-B he attended Cincinnati University and Kent State University where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Education. He married his true love Geraldine Mroski in June 1960 and together they raised 2 fine sons, Tony Allen and Timothy Eugene.
Pudge taught at St Vincent de Paul Catholic School for 20 years, Longfellow Junior High and finished his teaching and coaching career at Lorain Admiral King High School, retiring in 1994 at the age of 56. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and very dear friend to many. He loved to travel and spend time with his children and grandchildren.
Pudge is survived by his 2 sons, Tony Allen and Timothy Eugene (Tracey) Mudrock, 5 grandchildren, Toni Lynn, Taylor, Turner, Veronica and Victoria, a great grandson, Alexander, his sister Virginia (Dennis) Gabrie and many nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his wife Geraldine in 1988 and his brother Gerald in 1990.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m. at the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd, Amherst Oh 44001. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral center followed by his inurnment at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hospice of the Western Reserve P.O. Box 72101 Cleveland, Ohio 44192.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to all the staff at University Hospital Main Campus and the Hospice of the Western Reserve for all the care and kindness they always showed. May God Bless Pudge, he will be dearly missed and always remembered.
