Faye Alexander's Obituary
Faye Alexander, 89, died May 22, 2010, at New Life Hospice of natural causes.
Mrs. Alexander was born December 6, 1920, in MacArthur, Ohio to Fred and Laura Jarvis. After graduating from high school she married Leo Alexander and moved to Elyria and later to South Amherst. She devoted her life to raising her daughters and grandchildren, gardening, cooking and Leo, who died in 1989.
She is survived by her four daughters, Judith Alexander (Bill Strohm) ,of Amherst, Sue Bangma (Kevin), of Raymond, NH, Harmony Alexander (Frank), of Olympia, WA, and May Morales (Rick), of Goodyear, AZ.; three grandchildren, Anita Langer (Rob), of Hidden Hills, CA, Bill Bozicevich (Jennifer), of Aptos, CA and Ed Stashak (Stephanie), of Shorewood, IL; and four great-grandchildren.
In the past several years she was a member of the Congregational Church in Amherst and enjoyed reading, visiting with friends, and especially the company of close friends, like the Rob Johnston family of Avon Lake. She will be missed greatly by her family and friends.
There will be no visitation. A memorial tribute will be held at a later date for family members only.
