When I first saw Dr. Bartek, I was a little afraid of him. As soon as he began to speak all my fears were gone. He was gentle, funny and so very knowledgeable. He delivered 2 of my 3 children and over saw my last one. He was so caring and listened to all of my concerns and fears. He made my husband and I feel like we were his friends. He really enjoyed talking to us. That is how he always made us feel. I just found out about his passing today 4/23/13. I stopped by to make an appointment and I was shocked by his departing. I am so touched and taken aback that it almost feels like i lost a great friend. I will miss him, very much.
Our deepest condolences to Dr. Bartek's family. You will all be in our prayers.
A great Dr will be missed ...He cared about his patients and always put them first.. Rest in Peace ! Family is in our prayers
Myself and My husband send our condolences to Dr Barteks family. He was truely a great doctor. He saved my life, when no other doctor could tells us what was wrong, He found the problem and took care of it right away, before it was to late. God bless your family during this time and may god be with you.
I recently read of Francis' death in our former High School alumni newsletter. I was a classmate of his Brother Joseph, and remember seeing the 2 of them at various times during our school days. I remember Frank (as some called him then) as a very bright student with an upbeat outlook. From reading the many heartfelt Memorials in this Memorial Book, it's obvious that he not only had an upbeat approach to life but also was a most caring physician and family man. Certainly the Bartek family and the community of patients that he served have lost an extraordinary family member and friend. Our world would be a better place with more people like Francis. May he rest in eternal peace.
I am sadly just finding out about this now. I am truly saddened by the passing of Bartek. I was a patient for over a decade, he was the best doctor, a wonderful man, kind hearted, had a silly fun personality and overall was just a great contribution to society. He was a mentor to me in the years I got to know him, he spoke words of wisdom that I will carry with me forever. My heart is truly broken, my condolences to his family & friends. The world has lost a very special person. Rest in peace and thank you for being my real life angel, may you fly free.
I was a patient of Dr. Bartek for over 37 years. He delivered both of my children, Matt and Amy. I have been out of town and only now have learned of his passing, and am tremendously saddened by this news.
Dr. Bartek was the most kind, caring and compassionate doctor I have ever had. He was so knowledgeable and up to date in his field, and I always knew the advice and guidance he gave could be trusted.
Fortunately I had an appointment with him in early January, during which we discussed his planned retirement. I told him then that there is noone who can replace him, and I am so grateful to have had the chance to let him know how much I valued him.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family. He has left a beautiful legacy.
To all the Bartek Family,
We have all experinced a great loss when this fine giant of a man passed. He was my friend, colleague, partner, innovator and teacher. May his memory live on through his family, friends and patients.
