Francis Bartek's Obituary
Francis Andrew Bartek, MD, passed away in comfort and peace with his wife at his side on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at New Life Hospice. A dedicated physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology, he served the Lorain Community since 1974.
Dr. Bartek is survived by his wife Mary (nee Zaworski); children, Julia (Jeff) Sullivan, Catherine Woskobnick, Andrew (Teresa Sanchez), Catherine, Dominic, Gabriel, and Matthew; grandchildren, Jeff, Chaz and Jordan; brother, Joseph (Margaret) and their children; father and mother-in-law, Dr. Donald and Nancy Zaworski; aunt, Mary (Albert) Chesnavage; uncle, Andrew Sikorski; and a host of family members and friends. He joins his parents Peter and Frances Bartek.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 200 St. Joseph Drive, Amherst. Rev. Fr. Lawrence Martello and Rev. Fr. Theodore Marszal will officiate.
Our family ask that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to New Life Hospice of Medical Missionary International.
