Deepest, Deepest, sympathy Pam. Our family has know and loved Gus for well over 30 years, him being the best of friends with my Dad. The memories are plentiful between racing weekends, pig roasts, clam bakes, and bacon pepper sandwiches! Our thought is that Gus waited until the stadium at Sandusky Speedway was empty and underneath the lights he took his last lap finishing with a big burn out at the finish line waiving the checkered flag.
