Herb to me always Herbie Always had a helpful way within him when my Papa would call for help on a wood project, a car project or even a garden project he was always quick with the his help or fix or knowledge.
I am sure he, my Papa (Earl) and Mom (Marge) will be hitching up their campers and trucking on.
To Marilyn and girls sorry for your loss our prayers go out to you all.

Hey Daddy!
Remember the time we went to Clair Mar Lakes to fish? No sooner we got that old John boat in the water and rowed to the middle of the lake, it started pouring down rain. We got soaked. And silly you, grabbed the minnow bucket to try to get the water out of the boat. Lol. The look you gave me, and the look on my face, cracked us both up. By the time we rowed to shore, it stopped raining. Still soaked to the bones, we dumped out the water and went back out on the lake. We caught so many fish.
Save me a spot in that boat, for when I get there. We'll catch more next time.
I love you so much.
Annie!!
We always found ourselves setting in front of the TV conversating about racing, cooking, gardening, or just the ordinary life lessons of living and having fun. You welcomed me into your family with open arms and always treated me as a best friend, pal, & buddy. I'll always miss your knowledge and wisdom thats made me a better person because I knew you. Give my dad a firm hand shake, I'm sure he has a beer waiting for you.
I am so sorry for the families loss. whether you called him Daddy, Papa, Brother, Uncle or Herb your friend. The world lost a great man. I never got the chance to meet him, that saddens me. We had mechanics in common. My heart is with you, as you say see you later to Herb. One last thing zooomie...vrooom to your spot in heaven. Rest in peace.
