I have so many fond memories of the Konowal home from my youth. My parents were good friends with Isabelle and Len. They played cards in the evenings or would go to the movies. Lenore and I always found fun things to do in their home. I always felt welcomed. When I was engaged Isabelle and Lenore threw me a lovely engagement party which meant a great deal to me. Isabelle was always so gracious and kind. I know she will be missed greatly by her family and friends. She made such a difference to so many people.

When I was very young, We'd visit Gramma for a few days since we lived in Canton at the time. Gram would let me go through the cupboards before we left (to mom and dad's dismay) and take anything I wanted. I think she would stock up on candy and cookies before we came in anticipation.

Or, sitting with Grandpa while he did DAV stuff. Gram would usually do most of the lifting and paperwork, but always deferred to Grandpa when doing any of it.

And, if she asked where we wanted to go for dinner, and we said "seafood", seafood was on the menu.

Gonna miss you a lot. Sorry I won't be there.

Aunt Isabelle was always so vibrant and strong. I will always cherish the memories of time spent with her. She was definitely "one of a kind" and was lucky to have shared so many wonderful years experiencing her warmth and love. I will continue to pray for Aunt Isabelle and her family during this most difficult time.
May eternal rest grant to her Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and all the souls of the faithfully departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
