Karen Lynn Gutierrez's Obituary
Karen Lynn Gutierrez (nee Coleman), age 48, of Oberlin passed away very suddenly on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland after suffering from a stroke right after the New Year.
Karen was born on January 7, 1967 in Cleveland, Ohio to Jerry and Irene (nee Adkins) Coleman and was a 1985 graduate of Vermilion High School.
She was a homemaker who had a passion for animals, loved the outdoors, baking and crocheting. Her greatest joy and love was for her 7 children.
Karen is survived by her husband, Dennis; children, Verronica, Chaz, Andy, Aaron, Kyle, Jonathan and Abigail Gutierrez; grandchildren, Nevaeh Gutierrez, Evan Hostler, and Keegan Gutierrez; parents, Jerry and Irene Coleman; brother, Jerry Michael Coleman; sister, Pamela Coleman; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral center.
