I am truly sorry about your loss. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
I only met Leona one time, at Jeanies house for a birthday party for one of her grandchildren but her laughter and smile will always remain a cherished memory in my mind. She will be greatly missed.
We little knew that morning
That God would call your name
In life we loved you dearly
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you did not go alone
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories
Your love is still our guide
And though we cannot see you
You are always by our side.
Our family chain is broken
And nothing seems the same
But as God takes us one by one
The chain will link again.

When Kassandra came into our family, Lea came with her. What a wonder addition she was. My kids just instantly loved her. Oh how she loved her grandbabies. and how they love her. She cared about everyone and she became a great friend. I will miss her. Thank you Lea for touching our life and sharing Destiny and Mattie with me. I will always let them and bubby know how much you loved them and how happy they made you.
