Leona Reynolds' Obituary
Leona F. Reynolds, age 71, of Lorain, passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Mercy Regional Medical Center.
Born on April 28, 1941 in West Virginia to the late William and Lassie (nee Moore) Watson, Leona lived most of her adult life in Lorain.
For many years she worked at Lorain Printing and then later worked as a processor at Clovervale Foods for a number of years.
She was a long time member of Pleasant View Old Regular Baptist Church in Litchfield, Ohio.
Leona enjoyed reading and spending time on the lake. She also took pleasure in traveling, camping and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son, John (fiancée Cindy Veres) Williams, of Lorain; 5 grandchildren, Mark Williams, Jenelle Williams, Kassondra Secrist, Matt Williams and Kayla Howard; 8 great-grandchildren; her brothers, William Watson, Jr., of OH and James Watson, of PA; her sister, Ruth Carter, OH; and her step-sons, Frederick Reynolds and Charles Michael Reynolds, and step-daughter, Theresa Taylor, and their families.
Leona was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Reynolds; her son, James Randall Williams; her daughter, Geri Lynn Williams; her brothers, Elmer Ray Watson and Charles Watson; and her sisters, Edna Louise Varney and Vada Gill.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 20th from 4-7 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd., Amherst. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral center. Pastor Larry Newsome of Pleasant View Old Regular Baptist Church in Litchfield, and Pastor Matt Jones, of Broadway Assembly, in Lorain will both officiate. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens.
