During a very difficult time in my life, Peggy reached out and offered her help. Not just for that moment, but for many years to follow. Peggy was not a caregiver by trade, however she offered and helped care for both of my parents during their illnesses. She was reliable. She always showed up with a smile on her face and some funny comment. She was a good long-term friend to my parents both during the good times and the bad. She treated them with kindness, care, dignity, and respect, and made them laugh and for that I will always remember her and be forever grateful to her! Her time here was cut way too short. Peggy, I will miss your smile, your giggling, your uplifting spirit, at times your sailor’s mouth, and I will miss you!! I am sure you’re keeping the angels on their toes up there.
