My fondest memory of Aunt Mary was as a child. We all lived in Mobile, Al before she left for Ohio in abt 1954 with the rest of the Dixon’s clan. As I ( at this time I am abt eleven-years of age) recall she was one of the sweetest Aunt that I had. She was soft spoken, generous with her time, and assumed a lot of responsibility in raising her younger siblings. The next time I saw Aunt Mary was in Yr 2010; about 57 years later. She had not changed; as beautiful and sweet as I had known her as a child.

What a beautiful kind, loving auntie my Aunt Mary is to me. I can still see and feel her beautiful smile, big hug and that love tap on my back when ever our distance brought us back together. Knowing how she love her entire family, I can't help but to smile on the inside when I think of her and the legacy she's leaving behind, a generations that have been and will be blessed by the life she lived.

My fondest memory of Aunt Mary was her cooking. She made the best Spaghetti and Meatballs. Aunt Mary reminds me of the woman in Proverbs 31:10-31. She could cook, sew, clean, garden and was very loving and nurturing. RIP
