Mary F. Edwards, age 59, of Lorain passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain following a brief illness. She was born in Lodi, Ohio on April 23, 1961 to Andrew and Marjorie (nee Minor) Matel Read Obituary
Aunt Mary was one a kind. She loved spoiling all of us kids. I wasn't around as often as my other cousins but when we were all together we never missed a beat of being a part. I will always remember her kind loving smile and amazing laugh. My heart hurts that you are gone but I know you are at peace with GOD and all our loved ones. Love and miss you so much.
Aunt Mary was an amazing aunt. She loved all of her nieces and nephew like we were her own children. Lots of fond memories of sleepovers dressing up in your shirts and trying on your many sandles. Watching Garfield Halloween and Charlie Brown and great pumpkin, Wizard of Oz, and Gremlins(which gave some of us nightmares! The infamous night of bingo where you went out and got a bunch of prizes and wrapped them up and I won 90% of them causing my cousins to cry and then I cried when I lost. Needless to say we never played bingo again at sleepovers! Many trips to Mill Hollow and the beach. Playing kickball and tag with my sis and cousins at their apartment complex. Spending summers with you and Uncle Herb and my sis and cousins are some of the best memories of my childhood and I will cherish them always. Also thank you for taking care of “the next generation” aka my and Lindsey’s kids, who will miss and love you just as much as we will!

Sorry to hear of the loss of Mary, my dear sister-in-law, whose friendly nature and commitment to her family will long be remembered. She also had excellent customer service and sales abilities. I especially enjoyed learning about Polish heritage and traditions from her.
