There are no words to express how much of a blessing Momma Jo, as I called her, was to me and everyone she knew. John, Tiff, Josh and family, my heart is so sad and my love pours out to you across the miles. May you find peace in knowing you will be together again. I look forward to that day. Until then, may God give you His peace and strength to get through each day. So wish I could be with you now. Love you so much, Tracie "Marshall" Roush and Family
We were saddened to hear of Mary Jo passing. Our hearts go out to you and the family at this difficult time. Mary Jo was one of my favorite Facebook friends. I will miss sharing our family pictures with her.
The first time Jo and I met was our first day of kindergarten. I thought she was the cutest little girl that I had ever seen. We soon became best friends that would take us through high school. With life's twist and turns, she and I lost personal contact but she never forgot to write my mother a Christmas letter every single year. Thank God we finally reconnected around 10 years ago and like all true friends, it was like we had never stopped seeing each other. Fast forward... when she was diagnosed with the cancer, no matter how bad she felt, we still face-booked several times a week.
Our last chat I asked her on a scale of one to ten how did she feel that day, she said a 6...knowing Jo, it was more likely a 10. My last message to her was that 6 was my lucky number and it will bring you luck too. I will miss you my dear dear friend...I know you are with your parents and brother Billy right now, give Madge (Mary Jo called my mother Madge) my love...she too loved you very much.
Our deepest sympathies to Mary Jo's family our thoughts will be with you.
