Our Simsik Family of Vermilion offer condolences to you, Sherry, at this time of great loss.
Amanda, no words will ease the pain you're feeling right now. Time may eventually dull it. But the sorrow when you lose a close family member will always be there. And so will the good memories. I remember delivering your Father's newspaper several times on Sherwood earlier this year and noticed how neatly manicured the front yard was. There was a pleasant cheerfulness about it that reminded me of you when you worked here at The Morning Journal: always cheerful, with a vibrant personality that was infectious. At this very unpleasant time, it's ok to be sad. But think of all the positive things your Father did and try and instill them in your own family. That way, a part of him will live forever.

I am very sorry on Mickeys passing. I had not seen him for several years until he came into my place of employment last summer. It was good to discuss our high school days, our families, and life in general. Rest is peace MIckey. Darryl Cassidy
I was so sorry to hear of Mickey's passing. Mickey was one of the most colorful, excentric, exciting, and fun people that I've ever had the pleasure of knowing in my life. I have so many wonderful memories of him, that I wouldn't beging to know where to start. I remember his wild party in the summer, and a fun trip to Put-In-Bay. The world has truly lost a wonderful person, but was fortunate to ever have him in it. Mickey, you will truly be missed.
Sherry, I am so very sorry for your loss. You two were one of the most amazing couples I've ever met. Though it's been years since I've seen either one of you, you have never and will never been forgotten. I consider myself lucky to have known and spent time w/you.
We were surprised to hear about Mickey's passing. Mickey always was a happy fun guy! We have many fond memories. We are happy that the two of you got to enjoy so many wonderful experiences together. We express our deepest sympathy
