Terry, I just found out about Milan. For some very random reason, you flitted through my mind the other day. You and your brother Milan were always two of my favorite people. We all worked together at McD's on 254 and Milan was a born manager, esp of young people needing mentoring and learning about how to mnaeuver in this world. Pease know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Sad to hear of Milan's passing. We too met at McDonald's as teenagers. I had many long discussions with him as we tried to solve the problems of the world with his strong determination in his beliefs. He sent more than one worker home and out the side door of McD's as a manager when they gave him grief. LOL I too lost contact when he went to Michigan.
Time causes us to lose track of people but the memories I have are as fresh as yesterday.

I taught with Milan at Dorsey Schools for many years. He was always a happy go lucky guy. We had a group of teachers that would meet every now and then for dinner. He was sorely missed these last years. My deepest sympathies and prayers are with you all.

I first met Milan at age 16 when he hired into McDonald's on 254 across from the May Co. We hit it off as friends from the first day. From the time he hired into McDonald's he continued to grow in height until he surpassed many of us and grew to be a tall man. We had some great times back then and Milan was always a great guy. I did lose contact with him after his move to Michigan, but have always known he was doing well in his new career. I was very proud of him when he was a Lorain County Sherriff's Deputy as well. He looked great in his uniform being tall and slender. Our paths parted when I hired into Ford and later when I entered the service and lost contact with him as he went on to college. I've never forgotten my old friend and had no way to know he had moved back to our area. I send my sincere condolences to his family as I know he will be in your hearts forever, as well as ours. We had some fun times as youngsters and I'll remember him as one of my best friends. Sincere Regrets. Wayne Baird and family.
