I am so very sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She as was such a special woman. I cannot tell you how many wonderful memories I have of her from our childhood. Your house was always a haven filled with warmth and love created by your mom. I remember when the mall opened and she took us there for my first time-it was a memory etched in my mind forever. I always thought she was one of the sweetest and coolest moms ever. I loved working with her in the ED at St. Joseph hospital during my early nursing career. She never changed...always beautiful, always caring, always loving. Praying for you and your family.

Some people have that extra something. It can be hard to put into words. Love shines from their eyes and spirit. Comfort, care, concern, and joy exude as you interact with them. This was Patricia Garbo and my beautiful Aunt and my prayers go out to My Uncle Dominic and my beautiful cousins and their families. Because when LOVE is so strong and present the absence of it is so hard. The gift is knowing that LOVE will never die. And she will always be with you. My heart aches for you and all of us who knew her.

Marge, Kathy, Sue and Gayle,
I'm so sorry for your loss, words just don't do justice to how awesome your Mom as. She always welcomed us into her home with open arms, no matter how many of us there were, and always let us use her red convertible VW if Sue was using hers. And she always had great munchie food in the house. You're in my thoughts and prayers, give each other a hug from me.

Pat was one person that became my friend when I was hired on at St. Joseph Hospital 28 years ago. She working the full time day secretary shift and I worked her days off, part time on 4A on the Geriatric Floor with Dr Itri Eren, under Barb Plourd.
My heart goes out to the family she leaves behind. She was a very good secretary and friend.
