Patricia Anne Garbo's Obituary
Patricia Anne Garbo, 82, of Amherst passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Mercy New Life Hospice.
She was born on February 26, 1935 in Ashtabula, Ohio to Leslie and Catherine (nee Green) Johnson and graduated from Lorain High School. Patricia worked as a unit secretary at St. Joseph Hospital for 23 years.
Patricia enjoyed gardening, reading and pets. She supported many wildlife organizations and the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Dominic James Garbo; daughters, Kathleen Garbo, of Amherst, Susan Garbo, of Amherst, Margie (Kenneth) Kocorek, of Arlington, TX, and Gayle (Daniel) Lennox, of Allen, TX; grandchildren, Jessica ( Jason) Moore, of Lorain, Nicholas Kocorek, of Denver, CO, Vincent Driver, of Brooklyn, NY, Nathan Lennox, of Denver, CO, and Samuel Lennox, of Allen, TX; and brothers, Timothy Johnson, of VA, and Thomas Johnson, of Ohio.
Private family funeral services were held at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain. Arrangements were under the direction of the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral &Cremation Center, Amherst.
