Peggy Sue(Hayes), age 71, passed away at home May 17, 2018 after battling cancer. She was under the care of the wonderful, caring Mercy New Life Hospice. Peggy was born July 2, 1946 in Clinchco, Virginia to the late Albert and Ora Read Obituary
I went to Ervinton High School with Peggy and later married one of her first cousins. I saw her many times thought the years and she was always very sweet and kind. I know she will be dearly missed by her friends and family. I want them to know they are in my thoughts and prayers.
I worked with Peggy at K-Mart. She was such a loving and compassionate lady, made apparent by her conversations about Glen and the grandchildren. May you be comforted by the wonderful memories she created and the love she shared.

I worked with Peggy for alot of years at Kmart. I always enjoyed her sense of humor. You never had to wonder if she loved her family or not, she loved telling us about her grandchildren, children and Glen too. She will be missed...Rip Peggy....
