Peggy Sue Turner's Obituary
Peggy Sue(Hayes), age 71, passed away at home May 17, 2018 after battling cancer. She was under the care of the wonderful, caring Mercy New Life Hospice.
Peggy was born July 2, 1946 in Clinchco, Virginia to the late Albert and Ora Hayes. She moved to Ohio after marrying her husband, Glen, whom she was married to for almost 53 years.
Peggy retired from Kmart after 31 years of service. She had many friends whom she loved and kept in contact with.
Friends and family will remember Peggy as a kind, caring and loving person. She loved her family with all her heart, including her husband, children, grandchildren, sisters(Ann Rowe and Rosa Mullins), nieces, and nephews. She was an avid fan of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Indians and the Firelands Falcons.
She is survived by her loving husband, Glen, Her children; Charlie Turner, Michael Turner and Kimberly (Jeff) Habeck, Her grandchildren; Joel Turner, Jeffrey Habeck, Mikayla Habeck and Grace Habeck.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Ora and Albert Hayes and brothers Vernon Hayes, CP Hayes, Jimmy Hayes and David Allen Hayes.
The family will receive friends May 22, 2018 from 1-3 and 5-7 with a service directly afterwards lead by Pastor Larry Newsome at Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral and Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd, Amherst.
