Phyllis was like a mother to me for the last 18 years. She came into my life when my sister met Phyllis' son Don. I have so many memories of Phyllis but the one that makes me smile the most is the day we were at Michaels in Avon and Phyllis decided she was going to take up crochet again. It was a craft she used to do and I was crocheting at the time and she was inspired. So, she bought the hook and yarn and never got around to making anything, so she gave me the yarn. With that yarn and some from my own stash I made Phyllis a rose afghan because of her love of roses.
Rest in peace sweet woman, you will be missed dearly by those you've left behind.
