I will always remember Bob dearly from my time working at General Motors. He always had a smile, was really fun to talk to because of his similar interests and he was a very good tool and die maker. When GM bought their CNC equipment Bob was one of the sharpest programmers there, if not the best. I remember when his son Tim died he was heartbroken, so sad. I pray his family has the strength during this time of sorrow, Bob was a really nice gentle man and your memories of him will bring joy to your hearts.

Bob will be missed by so many! I will miss seeing him out dancing at the winery, I could never keep up with him!🥰 Judy, I am sending big hugs to you today. May the wonderful memories of the past give you comfort in the future.

I would like to share this poem, It seems fitting knowing how much Bob enjoyed boating and how he shared that joy with so many.
Sailor’s Good Bye
No more a Watch to stand, Old Sailor.
For you are drifting on an ebbing tide.
Eight Bells has rung. Dog Watch is done.
A new Berth waits you on the other side.
Your Ship is anchored in God’s Harbor.
And though his sailors are of equal rank.
There’ll be Shipmates on the deck to greet you.
And Pipe, as you ascend the Plank.
Her boilers with full head of steam.
Cargo stowed and Galley stored.
Just waiting to get underway.
When the last Hand comes aboard.
Look sharp! That hand is you, Old Sailor.
And you’ll be sailing out on the Heavenly Seas.
So may the winds be ever at your back.
Fair weather. And God speed!
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Our thoughts are with Judy and the rest of the family. Bob will always be remembered in our hearts. Sending our love!

I am sorry for your loss, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I learned so much from Bob during the years when the Hayden's were a part of Troop 427 with Bob as an Assistant Scout Master and when Scout Master. We sure did have a lot of fun in all the camping we did back then. He will surely be missed. I am sure my Brother Dan is swapping scouting stories in Heaven now. Rest in Pease Bob.
