Bob befriended my father, a man he had never met before, when he learned of my dad's cancer diagnosis. I'm thankful a good man like Bob was there to help him through his battle and I rejoice that they're together in heaven... Big Dan probably has a few new jokes for him. Lord, bless Bob's family with peace and comfort in the days ahead.
Very sorry to here about Bob. I worked with Bob in DFAS IT for several years. I would run into him periodically in Lorain. He was a very nice man and will be missed.

I worked for and with Bob for many years as a contractor at DFAS all the way up to his retirement. He was a true gentleman and such a wonderful person to work for and will be greatly missed. He had a wondeful sense of humor and a great tact for expressing it. May God's Blessing be upon him and his entire family at this time and give them comfort.
Bob always was good to work with, whether as a union rep when we were on opposite sides of some issues or as a fellow supervisor when we had to work out sometimes competing demands to attain a common goal. I am truly sorry for your loss.
Working with Bob at DFAS for all those years, his sense of humor made work easy... He was a mench (a person of integrity and honor).....
