Robert White's Obituary
Bob White, age 63, of Lorain passed on Thursday, November 26, 2015 at his home under the care of New Life Hospice.
He was born on December 5, 1951 in Canton, Ohio to Herman and Lois (nee Blake) White.
Bob served in the United States Navy as a lieutenant commander for 6 years and was honorably discharged in 1979. Upon his discharge he was employed by the United States Navy Department of Defense as a supervisor, overseeing all military branches with assistance on active duty, and veteran’s compensation.
He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. He was a loyal man and a wonderful role model to all. His tremendous faith was an inspiration to all who witnessed his battle with a lengthy illness, and he never once questioned why me.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Jenny; his sons, Tristan (Kanae), and Stephen; step-sons, Jason (Jennifer) Thomas, Craig (Chrystene) Thomas and Elliott (Beth) Thomas; He was Grandpa and Poppa to 9.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Lois; and his sister, Jackie.
The White family will receive friends on Saturday, December 5, 2015 from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst where services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. immediately following the visitation. Private family interment will take place at a later date.
