Jerry Hale
Jerry Hale was very active when he was young and enjoyed climbing trees.
When he was only 4 years old he was very sick with 104 temperature and a very bad cough.
My parents were so concerned about him, they called their Minister to pray for Jerry, which the minister did.
The Minister thought he should go to Jerry's house and be with the family for a short time. When the Minister arrived, He saw Jerry's family around a big cherry tree, demanding for him to come down.
The Minister originally thought that Jerry was dying with fever but, there he was, playing in the tall cherry tree.
Jerry then decided to listen to them. He let go of the tree branch he was holding to get down to the ground.
Everyone held their breath. On the way down he caught hold of a second branch, held on to it for a few seconds and then let go of that branch, too. One more time, he caught the third branch. He continually held on to that one. Then my father helped him down from the tree. The 104 degree fever and bad cough were gone.
It was amazing. He had no fever, was not hurt and was perfectly fine.
My parents said he was OK and the Minister agreed.
Everyone was glad that the Minister prayed for him before He left.

My Father you have taught me many things in life. The greatest thing you taught me was not just to believe, and have faith in God and in myself. Dad you taught me that the most valuable thing in life is your family. There really are no words that, I could ever write to truly describe, how much I love you Dad and how much I will miss you. You are the strongest man I will ever know. Like the song says you will always be our superman. I know you are finally free of pain, and watching us from heaven.
I would not have anything in life including my most valuable gift from God, my son if you had not saved me from myself. Dad you were always there when I needed you the most in my life. Dad no matter what I did to make you angry you always forgave me, and always made sure I learned from my mistakes. Most of all Dad you taught me what it truly means to be a Father. Dad you were the best father a son could have, there were times Dad I felt I didnt deserve you because your that great of a father.
I love you Dad and I know your are in heaven; surounded by Gods eternal love watching over us, free of all pain and tears. I know one day I will see you again.

My brother Jerry could never cheat at cards. One time we were playing and I started winning all the hands and he got mad because he accidently dealt me the hand he was suppose to get. I was maybe 10 and he was 13 at the time, so maybe he got better at cards as he got older. As a kid Jerry was always dreaming and had big plans. He was kind hearted and worked 2 to 3 jobs to provide a good life for his family. Our lives moved in different directions so for much of our adult lives, I lived either out of town or out of state, but Jerry was always happy to see me when I was around, even though I wasn't always the nicest little sister when we were growing up. I wish I hadn't been such a tattle tell. Sorry about that Jerry!
You will live always be in my heart!
