Roy Hale, known by “Jerry” by his family and friends, of Lorain, Ohio, born on October 17, 1956 has passed away from complications from a broken
neck and severed spinal cord he sustained in 2001 on his maintenance job for the City of Lorain Police Department where he was employed. Jerry also worked at the City Center as the property manager in Lorain for Al Andrews and John Veard until his injury in 2001 at the police department He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Brenda; son, Charles; daughter, Jaclyn (husband, Paul Petro); grandsons, Connor and Peyton; granddaughters, Angelica Rose, and Lily Leona; sisters; a brother; and other family members. Private services will be held under the direction of the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.dovinreberjones.com
