Roy was a hero to me. He was like an older brother when we grew up. When his father passed away, his Mom (my Aunt Lizzie - I'm so sorry you never got to meet her - she was an absolute delight) and Roy became like an extension to our family - we did everything together. I admired him so much for the person he became - a good family man who loved his wife & children so much. I so enjoyed getting to talk with him at the family reunions, especially last year when we actually had 1:1 time. He was a great person & I (and my siblings) loved him tremendously! May God bless you Norma, Jennifer, Jessica, Jeneece, Dude & Reber at this difficult time in your life! Love you!

Uncle Roy will without a doubt be missed. He loved his family and would do anything for anyone. I remember the day Uncle Roy came to our rescue my mom was picking my sister and I up from school when we got a flat tire in the parking lot and was stranded. Without hesitation he jump into his vehicle and took the tire to the nearest place to get it plugged so that we could get home. He was just that type of guy that help anyone. Uncle Roy would always greet you with a huge smile and make you feel at home. When you were at his house he would let you know his home was open to you. I remember helping him in his garden picking fresh veggies (while trying to sneek a taste here and there) he seemed not to mind though. When the family got together i remember he would sometimes gather everyone around and get everyone ready for a game of baseball. Uncle Roy was courageous, strong, and a tough cookie. Uncle Roy was loved by so many people and will never be forgotten

Sorry for the loss Norma. I did not know Roy that well but I always seen him at our family reunion all the time. I think he may have come to my grandma's house a few times. Im Dian's daughter by the way. I know this is a trying time for you and I hope it all works out for the better. I dont completely understand how you feel but I know that you are upset about all of this.
