What a terrific man my grandpa was. If you have ever had the chance the meet him, consider yourself truely blessed, I know I am. My grandpa was always full of love, faith, and energy. Even as he reached his older days, he was still willing to do anything and everything. Nothing ever stopped him or slowed him down, always on the go. Most of the time it was to visit his family, "My kids" as he so called them. He so proud of all of us, and we should be proud to have him as a grandfather, great grandfather, dad, brother, uncle and or in anyway he is connected to us. He is much more than a simple man that has walked this earth, he is truely extrodinary! Though he had his ways ( I'm sure we all know!) he was such a loving man, even to those not related. He would meet a perfect stranger and make their day; is was just the type of person he was, an angel of God. We can all learn a lot from Stanley Bansek; to be more caring, gracious, and full of life and love. R.I.P Grandpa, hope to see you in heaven!

Stan and Ruth were our neighbors in Florida. They were always quick to share a smile, laugh, story and their faith. (Ruth loved to feed my kids whatever she was baking....always sweets!) Stan especially loved to share stories of his children and grandchildren......He would always start with "My Paul, My Stanley, My Richard, My Danny..." never just talking about them by name but "MY" first. He was so very proud of you all.
Stan and my husband were always borrowing tools from each other to fix things..... My response was always I don't know where that is....His response was "I do" and he'd putter about in the garage....
I remember one time when my then 3 year old son Justin had an accident and we had to bring him to the hospital. Desiree was only days old and Jackie was five but Stan and Ruth jumped right in and took care of them while we made our Emergency Room run. It didn't matter that Desiree had never had a bottle and was screaming to be fed or that Jackie was upset. They took it all in stride..... they were both such givers, true servants. I remember Stan going door to door after the hurricanes with his coffee pot full for all those without electricity....

They are both missed....But I know that Stan is having a grand old time in Heaven now. We gave Stan and Ruth a little plaque once that said something like "I hope my mansion is next to yours in Heaven." They used to have it hanging on their kitchen wall...... Well, I hope Stan is keeping an eye on our Mansion next door to his up there........

Our deepest sympathies to all of Stan's family. He is missed!

Don Smith - Palm Bay, Fl - Nieghbor In Florida For 15 Years

Stan lived across the street from me in Palm Bay. When we moved in, it didn't take long to get to know Stan and Ruth. Stan introduced himself right away and came over to get to know us. My first two children were very young at the time and we had not yet had our third. Our children always loved to run across the street to see Stan and Ruth. They were always so kind. Stan was alway so full of life and positive. I can tell he was always use to working hard as he never seemed to slow down. When he really got bored, you would see him on his roof sweeping it. It always made us smile. Stan loved the Lord and was quick to share his faith which we have in common. I always enjoyed talking with Stan and missed him after Ruth died and he moved back to Ohio. He would call every few months to keep in touch. I'll miss him. My deepest sympathy and condolences to the family and thanks for letting us know. We had just talked to Stan last week and he said he was very ill. I know Stan is in heaven today and smiling. Stan always was smiling.

I first remember Stan driving his green Chevy stationwagon to church. He was always sure to be there and see that his kids were with him. He was jovial, smiling and easy going all of the time.

After Connie died, he and Ruth married and shared many years
together as well. Both were always a welcome sight to me when they returned to the area on vacation.

I can still see Stan driving with Florida tags still on his car, years after
he had moved back to Ohio. He has gone on to his heavenly reward
wihout any doubt as a faithful servant of the Lord.

Dear Rick, Danny, and Family,

So sorry about your loss--know that you are all in our prayers and that we love you very much. He is with the Lord--whom he loves so much. May God continue to bless and be with you all until you see your father again. We love you all so much. We will always hold dear the memories of Stan--especially the bonfire stories!!!!
