Dearest Aunt Sophie, Orbovich Family Members and Aunt Stella's dear friend....
I have to believe that Aunt Stella is now happy and at peace with her beloved husband and son. She loved them both so much.
Aunt Stella will always be in my memory with her wonderful laugh and her ability to make you feel like you were the most extraordinary person and of course, simply beautiful if you were her niece and of so handsome if her nephew. Aunt Stella was an inspiration to us nieces, especially those of us who are AARP eligible. She was a businesswoman; she had a career. She worked hard and cared for people and always presented her fun side to us "kids" even when it was tough.
Memory....I'm in my early thirties....My Mom and I rent a cabin at Tapin for a week and my Dad drives up to Loraine to bring Aunt Stella down for our cabin adventure. I still see my Dad with a big grin on his face as he drives up the dirt road to where I'm waiting. The car stops, the passenger door swings open (boat of a car) and out hops Aunt Stella, hair jet black and cut in a bob, dressed in a bright pink 2 piece velour track suit and 3 inch stilettos. Aunt Stella was ready to rough it! We had a grand time.
I love you all and sorry I can't be with you to celebrate Aunt Stella's life. Lynette
