Stella Burich's Obituary
Stella Burich (nee Orbovich), age 88, of Lorain, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2011 at Lake Pointe Health Center while under the care of New Life Hospice.
She was born on January 21, 1923 in Glencoe, Ohio to Samuel and Dorothy (nee Trbovich) Orbovich and was a 1941 graduate of Wintersville High School in Wintersville, Ohio.
Stella was a Bridal Consultant in the Lorain area for over 40 years. She attended St. George Serbian Orthodox Church in Lorain.
She is survived by her sister, Sophia Tarowsky, of Indiana; sister-in-laws, Martha, of Ohio, Olga, of Virginia and Rosella, of West Virginia; many nieces and nephews; and good friend, Wilda Hatfield.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; son, Thomas; 6 brothers, Joseph, Michael, Leonard, Donald, Peter and Milan; 5 sisters, Hilda Glusac, Mary Rucker, Ann, Diane and Zora Orbovich.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday, December 17, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Services at 12:00 noon in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. Fr. Aleska Pavichevich, of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, will officiate. Private interment will take place at Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
