Marianne, you are in our thoughts and prayers. Tammie & Tim Ferguson
Dear Marianne, sending caring thoughts and prayers to you and your family at this difficult time.

Tom and Marianne welcomed me to the neighborhood and into their home without any judgment or reservations, always available and willing to help, including mowing my untended lawn, or braving the bitter cold to snow blow my driveway clear. The genuine concern and care for me and my family is something not often experienced in today's world. We used to spend time in your Relaxation Room discussing a wide variety of topics, and Tom, you sure can be passionate and quite animated when you share your opinions! But you were always reasonable, willing to accommodate at a moment's notice. Thank you so much for being a true friend. It was always readily apparent that Marianne and you loved each other so completely, and that extended to us neighbors, as we truly were your extended family. Tom, your heart was incredibly larger than your physical stature, and you are sorely missed. My family and I are so sorry for your loss, Marianne, and our deepest condolences and prayers to you and Tom and your family. I will raise a glass filled with his cherished Sprite as a toast to celebrate Tom's life. Steen ee-gia sas!!
Tom came to our office, the Amherst Office on Aging, to volunteer with our meals delivery service. While he and his faithful friend, Brutus, made so many friends among our seniors , it was his compassion and kindness to protect the most vulnerable people that made us appreciate him. When he took on the IRS and the state treasury on behalf of an elderly lady that we knew he was going to be our greatest hero. His love for his family and his passion for doing good was important. Please rest in peace, Tom. Hopefully you’ll return to your beloved Greece.
