Torrey Kelley (nee Forrest), age 51, of Lorain, Ohio passed away Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Hospice Care Center at the Renaissance, in Olmsted Township after a 5 month struggle with cancer. She was born on January 5, 1960 to Ed Read Obituary
Torrey I loved you so much and was always so pround of you. thank you for all the wonderful things you did for me over the yeaars. with your death I will never be the same and an empty space will remain in my heart. know that i loved and cared for you deeply. See you in heaven, your brother Mark
Torrey and I came up together. She was my best friend for years as we became adults (late 70s) ... and I thought of her every day since we went our seperate ways, Her passing is shock to me. I wish I had known she was sick. I would have came to say so long.
I will continue to love her, and think about her daily. It's been a difficult few years. My son Steven died in April of 2009; my mother had a stroke December of 2011 - and now, Torrey's passing.
Brian, I am sorry about your loss. The best I can say is thanks for giving her what you did. Mark ... I miss your jokes; and Dana, I hope we can talk someday. I am still in Arlington Heights.

I didn't have a chance to work with Torrey for very long, maybe a year or 2. But she and I became friends quickly. I enjoyed chatting with her and listening to stories about her family. She was a wonderful person with a big heart. Kind, caring and a good friend. I will miss her deeply.

I had the privilege of getting to know Torrey at the bus stop when our youngest daughters were in kindergarten. There were many times we stayed and talked long after the bus left. She was a kind, genuine, friendly person that I am honored to have known. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
