Richard Pokora
In the late 1970s I was on a bus in Champlain Urbana, headed back to Arlington Heights, absorbing every last second I could interacting with Torrey who was looking at me thru the passenger glass longingly from the platform, I can still see her happy and beautiful face, and I asked her once again ... and she replied 'yes'. My heart actually skipped a beat right then, because I knew we'd be the happy for eternity, and we were, even after we separated; but even then I was never apart, I keep her close to my heart. This is my fondest life memory at 67 years old, something I cherish and carry with me every day.
