Torrey Kelley's Obituary
Torrey Kelley (nee Forrest), age 51, of Lorain, Ohio passed away Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Hospice Care Center at the Renaissance, in Olmsted Township after a 5 month struggle with cancer.
She was born on January 5, 1960 to Edward and Donna Forrest in Providence, Rhode Island.
Torrey worked for the Cleveland Clinic, Digestive Disease Institute as a Research Manager for the past 4 years. She enjoyed traveling and scrapbooking. Her children have been the focal point of her and her husband's life for the past 6 years.
She is survived by her husband of 13 years, Brian; sons, Zachery, Aaron and Joshua; daughters, Christine and Ariel; father, Edward (Eileen) Forrest, of Hilton Head, South Carolina, brother, Mark Forrest, of Aiken, South Carolina; sister, Dana (Alex) Vincent, of McHenry, Illinois; nephews, Zachary and Logan Vincent.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Donna Forrest (nee Barhydt), in 2004.
The Kelley family will receive friends on Sunday, December 4, 2011 from 2:00- 7:00 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 5, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Amherst Congressional United Church of Christ, 379 S. Main Street, Amherst. Pastor Attila Szemesi, will officiate. Interment will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.
The family suggest contributions be made in her memory to Catholic Charities Adoption Services, 628 Poplar Street, Elyria, OH 44035.
