Tyler Andrew Moore's Obituary
Tyler Andrew Moore, 20 years of age, student of McPherson College in McPherson, Kansas, majoring in Classic Automotive Restoration and Business Management, and a new resident of Lorain, Ohio, went to be with the Lord early Saturday morning, May 29, 2010 at home surrounded by his loving mother and father.
Tyler was born June 12, 1989 in Lafayette, Indiana. He attended school in the McCutcheon school district where he played soccer and baseball.
He was a young man of many gifts and talents. He was a nationally-ranked amateur motocross racer, received high honors and won many outdoor, indoor and off-road competitions. He acquired 11 sponsors along the way. He was active in Fellowship of Christian Athletes-Motocross, and a member of the FCA Central U.S. MX Racing Team. He was an accomplished water skier, snow boarder and wrestler. His passion was going fast and doing extreme sports. In addition, he was a designer, sheet metal fabricator, and he loved to build and restore automotive projects.
He is survived by his parents, Randall and Rhonda (nee Bruner), of Lorain; his older brother, Alexander Patrick Moore, who recently graduated from Murray State University in Kentucky; his grandparents, Grover and Gaye Bruner of Richmond, IN, and Lanny and Mary Moore of Frankfort, IN; his uncles and aunts, Bryan and Lora Moore of Frankfort, IN, Craig and Amy Moore of Indianapolis, IN and Rodney and Susan Bruner, of Seymour, IN. Also surviving are his 5 dear cousins.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 6th from 2-6 p.m. (EST) in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd., Amherst, OH, where a celebration of Tyler’s life will take place on Monday, June 7th at 11:00 a.m. (EST) Mark Neubacher, Pastor and family friend, will officiate. Burial will follow in New Russia Township Cemetery, Oberlin.
